The Eco Club was established in 2015 with the purpose of creating environmental awareness amongst students and staff of LHS. Students and staff meet weekly, usually at lunch time, to discuss issues relating to the environment and also taking part in related activities. During this year, the Eco Club members organised a sunflower growing competition. Each week the members measure the growth of each tutor group's sunflower. Eco Club is open to all year groups and we expect that 2015/2016 will be a big year for the Eco Club as we have a lot planned! Year 10 pupil, Jordan Hau, has recently been shortlisted for Sefton's Eco Champion Award for his dedication to all things 'Eco'! We wish him luck!
