Introduction to Religious Education

Religious Education offers students to opportunity to discuss, debate and challenge their own opinions and the opinions of others.

It allows students to question and reflect on many social, moral and cultural issues exploring the world and society around us. 

Religious Education at KS3

Students study a range of topics in line with the Sefton SACRE including Inspirational People, Anne Frank and the Holocaust, Religion and the environment and Religion and the Media. In Years 7 and 8 there is a focus on the key concepts of the world religions.

Religious Education at KS4

Students follow the WJEC Philosophy and Ethics GCSE Full Course. The topics include relationships, our world, medicine, expression and conflict.
